Boxed Lunch is a Charlottesville, VA-based indie pop/rock band known for their high-energy live shows and killer harmonies. The band was formed in 2018 and features Joel Streeter (vocals/rhythm guitar), Emily Gardiner (vocals), Zack Beamer (vocals/bass), Chad Page (lead guitar) and Clayton Daniels (drums). Boxed Lunch is a band where each member is an accomplished singer/songwriter resulting in an eclectic mix of original music that has drawn comparison to classic 70s bands like Fleetwood Mac. In 2022, the band released their debut EP (In Neon Light) which went into regular rotation on local radio stations WNRN and 106.1 The Corner. Boxed Lunch is currently hard at work on their next EP expected to be released in 2026. The band can be seen at venues in and around central VA, and has performed shows at venues like the Ting Pavilion (Fridays After Five), The Southern Cafe & Music Hall, the Rivanna Roots Festival, the TomTom Festival, and Brambly Park.

Prior to moving to Charlottesville, Joel released two albums of original music (Matador and Hear Me Out) with a band featuring members of Counting Crows and Train (available on all streaming services under Joel Streeter). Joel can also be seen playing solo and full band shows in and around Charlottesville (more info at joelstreeter.com).

Zack and Chad can be seen in the Hendrix-inspired rock/blues/funk/fusion group Project Bluebird (projectbluebirdmusic.com).

Emily can be seen performing as June Baby, with her own debut EP out in 2025 (@junebaby_music).

Clayton can often be seen out and about playing drums with several other Charlottesville bands.
